I believe that Arbella is one of the better auto insurance companies out there right now. They offer great customer service and are readily available whenever I need to make a claim or request infomation about my policy. Although they are known for being one of the more expensive insurance companies, you definately get what you pay for! I have also told some of my friends and family about Arbella, and they switched over and could not be happier!

arbella is a horrible company. they’re service is the worst i think there could be. they are rude, dissmissive, and very shady. i would not recommend this company to anyone. if you need insurance i think you should go to the mob first, they would be a better choice.

I had been an Arbella automobile insurance subscriber for more than ten [10] years.
I was involved in a motor vehicle accident, in which the other driver was extremely negligent in operating his motor vehicle and displayed total disregard for safety when he make an illegal left-hand turn through an intersection and in my lane of travel.
As a result, my vehicle collided with his vehicle in my lane of travel within the intersection. Both this driver and I called 911; quite possibly for different reasons.
I observed the other driver stumbling as he exited his vehicle and did not know if he was under the influence of a substance and therefore impaired, or if he was injured.
After the police and fire/rescue arrived, it was quickly determined that neither him or myself required any medical attention. The police dismissed the fire/rescue personnel and began to facilitate the exchange of information.
This other driver also had Arbella automobile insurance. He also fabricated a false story as to how the incident occurred.
The police did not cite either him or me, and our vehicles were able to be driven away; thanks to my defensive driving and quick reaction to his idiotic behavior.
I immediately filed a claim with Arbella. The Claims Rep. was extremely rude, condescending, and dismissive.
I was told that an independent party would be sent out to investigate the scene of the accident; monitor the flow of traffic and traffic signal sequences, etc.
I had to contact Arbella again to follow up on this investigation as I was not being updated. I had discovered that the “independent party” did not collect enough evidence to determine who was at fault. I was then told that Arbella would have to wait for the police report to be sent to them.
Several months had passed, and every moth I had to call for an update. I was continually told that this police report had yet to be filed.
On the fifth [5th] month, I personally went to the police station to inquire about this police report.
The desk officer kindly showed me a hard copy of the police report which was filed on the same day as the accident.
The report stated that no one was cited, no one required medical attention, and therefore no investigation was needed.
I immediately informed Arbella of this and the information was received very rudely by the Claims Rep.
A week later, I had to contact Arbella again for a follow up, and I was told that the decision was determined to be a fifty-fifty [50/50]; fifty [50] percent [%] the other driver’s fault, and fifty [50] percent [%] my fault.
I am very confident that if it had not been for the other driver having Arbella insurance as well, that I would have been represented much more fairly and effectively. I am also confident that the claims process would not be stalled as well.
I am no longer an Arbella insurance subscriber as their business practices and lack of fiduciary responsibility appalls me.

I was involved in a multicar accident, not my fault, and Arbella quickly sent me a check for damages. So far so good…Then I tried to deposit the check in my account but wait here is the catch. The check had to be co-signed by JP Morgan bank which Arbella claimed had a lien on my car. I paid cash for the car so there can be no lien legally on this vehicle. I was told to find my title which I have somewhere but being Christmas I can not find it and now i have to go to the RMV to pay for a copy of my title. My agent is great but I am upset and here it is Christmas Eve, Baaaah Humbug Arbella.

Arbella is one of the best companies I’ve ever had. Our dedicated customer service agent and our personal insurance consultant are always friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. Thanks to my consultant’s recommendations we had the coverage necessary when we had a really bad accident. The claims team has been compassionate and professional. Thanks to these extraordinary people, we always feel confident that we’re protected. I’ve already sent my family and friends to our agent, and now they’re covered too.

I’ve had Arbella for over 25 years – claimswise never a problem – everyone has always been very professional and helpful.
Costwise – they’re getting outrageous. My insurance doubled after a crash – my fault – that caused less than $500 damage to the other vehicle. Arbella will collect from me, over $5,000 dollars in surcharges !!
My daughter paid a premium for her policy because she was a brand new driver – now no longer a brand new driver, her policy went up over $400 a year.
We’re shopping for a new company now. Love the service, can’t afford them anymore.

Just had a small parking lot fender bender. The Arbella (female) claims rep was extremely rude. I can’t believe how I was treated. I just recently changed over to Arbella. I am now regretting that decision. Beware of Bella!

Have had Arbella for over 25 years with personal and business insurances. Paid over $250,000.00 in premiums combined. Have had nothing but problems with them! People are extremely rude and not at all helpful! They DO NOT care one bit about their customers!!! Was rearended recently at a stop light by someone with Commerce. Thinking the person might want to pay me directly and save the surcharge, I did all the running around and got the price for parts and estimates from three different places as weel as directly from Ford. However, Commerce called me directly and was very polite and offered to take care of it without going through Arbella. So, not knowing what to do, I went through my own insurance company Arbella and what a mistake it proved to be! Went to Arbella drive through and told the appraiser at Arbella the two parts needed to fix the bumper and had paper work from Ford showing my VIN number and the two parts needed to fix it. Arbella appraiser was so lazy that he wrote for one of the two parts from an aftermarket company which I called directly and whom does not even have the part. Then he proceeded to write in the comment section that he completed the appraisal on Saturday and could not verify with Ford because parts were closed on Saturday. All this and Arbella was not even paying for it as Commerce was. This is what a quarter of a million dollars worth of premiums gets you. This is only one example. I could fill pages and pages with horror stories of how poorly Arbella treats their customers. Only kept them for so long as my insurance agency only sold two companies and the other on did not cover everything we needed. Changed insurance agencies after 40 years and taking everything out of Arbella. In fact, the people at Commerce were so nice to me without me being thier customer, I decided to become one! Arbella’s motto is pay your over $250,000.00 in premiums on time but DO NOT expect anything from us even when we are not paying for it in the end! I would not doubt it if Arbella pocketd what Commerce paid them for rearending me. Arbella certainly did not pay me to fix my Lincoln. Stay away from Arbella at all costs! And, it will cost you!!!
