AAA Insurance Reviews – Direct from the Auto Club

The American Automobile Association (AAA) is one of the oldest companies in the United States that sells auto insurance. They were founded in 1902 to lobby for improved roads. They continue to enjoy that heritage and have a respected tradition of roadside assistance, iconic maps, and now car insurance. The following AAA insurance reviews are from actual customers.

AAA primarily focuses on auto insurance, but they also offer home and life insurance. If you have an experience with AAA, leave a review – good or bad.

My family have been members of AAA for more than half a century, so it was no shock that I decided to go with them when I got my license. 10 years later and I am still covered under their insurance.

Although I seldom get into accidents, the times that I have, AAA has gone above and beyond to help. Not only does their roadside assistance come in handy (it is separate from their insurance policies), but the customer service department are kind, patient, understanding and very thorough.

My insurance covers liability and is affordable. Compared to some of my friends’ insurance policies, which range from bare bones to the maximum, I feel as though I am a lot better off. The several times that my rates did go up were due to small accidents on my end, but AAA has never made me feel as though I am being judged or penalized–they truly believe that they are accidents!

My family originally chose AAA for insurance because it was one of the few options available (as stated above, over a half century ago), but even now they are still satisfied! The commercials they show on tv absolutely ring true–the prices really can be that low! I have even “converted” several friends and extended family members of mine from their past insurance policies to a new one with AAA. I believe that generations of mine to come will also use AAA, not only because it is a family tradition, but because of the quality of the product they offer.

AAA is the best auto insurance company in the whole world. I would not give them up for anything. The claims representatives are completely nice and understanding.

I was in a auto accident last year as I was coming home from my parents house. Was completely the other guys fault, but the evidence was not completely clear cut. AAA sent out a forensic investigator to help me win my case. I have nothing but admiration for the company. I would have never won the case without the help of AAA. My rates only raised a slight bit because of that accident. I would have been decimated if it was determined to be my fault.

I’ll give another example of how great the company is. I rear ended a guy in front of a school on a sunday morning with not witnesses at all. It looked like it was my fault but I knew the guy was trying to commit fraud by break checking me. There was no way to prove this way of course so I was out of luck until the claims rep thought to look at the schools security cameras. I was completely exonerated and pressed charges against the other driver for fraud. The case would have turned out in a completely different manner if my rep had not so cunning.

I am happy to say that I will a life long customer of AAA. They have saved me so much money over the years. Everyone in the company really goes out of there way to help the customers. I recommend the company to any and every family member and friend who is willing to listen to me. 5 star company.

AAA has been fantastic since the very first time I used them. I used their services to have my car towed and jump started, and figured their insurance might be great as well. I got into a minor fender bender in which me and the other party exchanged information, and AAA handled the situation perfectly. They were very friendly on the phone with me as well. That’s pretty big, when a company can offer both great customer service and low prices.

Whenever I need to speak to them about something, they are quite clear about what I need to know. I called with questions about my rate and they explained exactly what I was paying for. They also do a great job at explaining things that aren’t so easy to understand to a layman like me. Most of the time, insurance agencies confuse me and I just figure they’re over complicating things to charge me more money. I don’t feel that way with AAA luckily.

There was also an issue with my insurance cards displaying incorrect information. AAA was pretty good about getting it taken care of, except for the fact I was told I’d be called back later in the day and they didn’t call until the next morning. Normally I wouldn’t be happy about something like that, but when they did finally get through to me, they apologized profusely and fixed the situation. AAA has been fantastic and I don’t think I’ll ever use a different company for insurance again.

I became a member of AAA two years ago and was insured for two autos and home. My wife and I both have good driving records. We left our previous company of 20 years because of a huge unwarranted increase in our homeowners insurance that they wouldn’t reconsider. After getting much better rates from AAA, we joined thinking we had found another home for our insurance needs. Well we’ve seen double digit increases for the past two years in both auto and home insurance plus a hefty fee for the motor club benefits. We have never made a claim on anything. As a retired person getting no increase in pension and little in social security, I can not afford to continue with the AAA money machine.

This corrupt insurance company puts profits over their loyal customers and will look for any reason to deny your claim. I have been a loyal member and policy holder for over 8 years, paying my premium upfront every year and after being hit by an uninsured motorist was denied a claim due to mistakes made on AAA’s end. This is how they back their loyal customers. My entire family will be searching for new insurance services immediately. Steer clear of this insurance company before you are in the same situation! Their are a number of insurance companies that actually value their customers and actually provide the services they say they do. AAA is not one of them, they just want your money!

My car insurance has been largely been an anonymous part of my life over the four years I’ve had it – and that’s meant as a high compliment. I joined AAA Insurance after my previous insurance kicked me out due to having gotten in an accident. AAA was more than willing to work with me and gave me a pretty good rate, expecially considering that most recent accident.

My rates have continued to drop and remain among the most competitive I’ve encountered in the time since signing up with AAA.

And the few tiems I’ve had to file a claim, like after being rear-ended while stopped earlier this year, their customer service representatives have been professional, courteous and helpful. They guided me through the process – even the parts they knew I would not want to hear. They’ve handled everything well, as if I were a real person rather than simply another policy number or annoying voice to contend with. And they have never hassled me.

Their office in my city closed down soon after I signed up, but AAA has still always handled me with care by phone in the time since. They don’t know me, but they try to act like they do and appreciate any situation I come to the with. They always give me ample notice any time there’s something about my policy I must deal with, such as re-signing for another term or getting paperwork back to them.

My experiences with AAA have been some of the best I’ve had with any car insurance company. I would whole-heartedly endorse AAA to anybody. It’s time – and money – well-spent.

AAA are very hard to deal with, I should of listen to so many people who put that as reviews and I should of listen to my former agent from state farm….I didn’t have a clue until I had little damage on my son’s car by running over a big piece of metal was in the middle of my lane while I was driving on the highway. I called them for a claim, first it took exactly 17 minutes for me holding the line, then, a mean lady talk to me and almost started yelling at me when I called almost around 8:30 pm. today. They are so mean, they won’t let you choose any repair shop, none in my city and she was asking me to drive to the closest one which he is 70 miles away from home. All because the adjuster might not show the next day to look at the vehicle, she gave me a hell of a time. Forget it, I am going back to state farm who are honestly the best even though slightly expensive but mainly it is worth it the head ache. Take my advise and listen, read reviews first.

I do not have AAA insurance but went through them when I got in a wreck their driver was liable for. I was not very impressed. They gave me a fiat-sized car, which is much smaller than the car I put in the shop, and said they “provide transportation, not comparable transportation.” They also said they would follow up with me in a few days and did not, so I had to follow up with them. They also had me set everything up for taking my car to the shop, setting up the rental car, etc., which the other insurance company I dealt with in my previous wreck took care of (an also gave me a much nicer/safer rental car.). They always seemed to be rushing me off the phone, even though the conversations were short, instead of asking if I had any other questions. I had to cut in before she hung up and say there was something else every time I spoke with her.

I had my first auto insurance with AAA; I had it for almost a year until the time I had to cancel it.
With AAA, the agent you signed up with can do nothing else for you other than sign you up at the beginning, but they are very nice.
I filed my first claim on the 10th month of my AAA 1 year contract, Auto theft.
I was told to contact the claim department, and trust me, the agent was very nice at the beginning but not at the end. He is nice to you when he calls you, and never expect to get him through when you are initiate the call, voicemail 200% of the time…

In order to cause less damage to the car(even covered by AAA, we still would like to keep the damage minimized and cost down), we made payment upfront, with our personal relationship, we were able to get the cost over 1000 less than the dealership’s quote, of course with less damage to the car, we saved AAA thousands of dollars. We were glad to do that, claim agent agreed before we took the action.
Everything is PERFECT until AAA issue you the Reimbursement! They sent me an email one day, stating the full reimbursement will be issued, 2 days later, sent me another email, stating due to blah blah…, AAA can only issue partial reimbursement!

This is how AAA works! Trust me, I made lots of phone calls, can nothing would work, if you are a current AAA customer, be aware, never pay a cent upfront! Then you probably will be fine! No matter how much more the damage would be, DO NOT PAY UPFRONT, you will very less likely to get it back!!

But thanks to the claim department, I had the chance to finally look at AAA at a different angel, I was so loyal to AAA, never had I looked into any other insurance companies at all I was able to switch to another popular insurance company, and you cannot believe, I am paying half what I was paying before by having a better coverage, had I chosen the same coverage, it would have been less than half.
Shopping around for insurance will pay off!
This is my first time review any companies; I take my time write this to you. Because You are the consumer, you deserve to know! I hope what I experienced with AAA, you will never have to go through!
I wish you the best of luck with your insurance company! If they are treating you right, don’t hesitate, there are just too many out there, you don’t have to suffer!

    Kindest Regards.

I originally had heard great things about AAA’s insurance, so when I finally got my vehicle, I decided to go with them. They didn’t have the lowest rate of all the companies, but they were the most helpful on the phone.

There was some initial confusion (and subsequent problems) with the paperwork that they helped me clear up in no time. When I had a minor accident last year, I expected somewhat of a headache from them. The process was simple, and they acted extremely professionally on the phone. They always help me figure out what to do (I’m not great with cars).

One of the best things about AAA, beyond their amazing customer service, is their knowledge on cars (and insurance) in general. I usually have a lot of questions for them because I’m not familiar with their policies a lot of the time. I’ve had problems asking insurance agencies in the past what exactly their policies are. Usually they either want to transfer me, or simply don’t know.

AAA has always had not only a good answer for me, but one in a timely fashion. I’ve asked some pretty specific questions they’ve had to look up for me, but it never takes them long. I’m the type of person that says “better safe than sorry” so I try to cover my bases well. AAA really works well with me in that department.

Overall, I’ve been extremely satisfied with AAA. It’s pretty inexpensive, extremely reliable, and their customer service is absolutely top notch. Professionalism is extremely important in the insurance field, and they’ve never been anything short of perfect in that department. I’m very glad I’m with them, and don’t plan on leaving them any time soon.

I have been a customer for over 5 years for AAA. So far, they haven’t let me down.

I recently totaled my car and a few days later, I have the exact same car but a year newer, they paid me the HIGH end on the KBB for the loss. I am AHEAD money from before the accident! I have a lovely time with the agents on the phone, they’re funny and helpful and they make my bad day way better by being understanding and thoughtful!

They are very affordable, quick, and the representatives are nice and respectful! I’ve always had good experiences with them whether it’s a phone call or I damaged my car. The claims are easy and quick. I can take care of my registration and renewing anything at a local office and I don’t have to sit in long lines at the DMV waiting to do it.

They quoted me at $29.50 per month (liability and road side assistance only is what I wanted). Most people are paying $110 and up for insurance.

My AAA card also comes in handy a lot of the time. Tow/ battery services are nice, but I’ve never needed, but nice to have on a back road going towards Vegas on a Friday night. Their services are just lovely, and I don’t think I will ever change insurances. Personally, I refer anyone I meet to Triple A Insurance because I love it! If you want a fast, quick, affordable, and RELIABLE insurance, definitely choose AAA.

AAA insurance has been in my family longer than I have been alive. Sure, some other insurance companies have served some use, and they came and went, but from very early on it was instilled in me that AAA holds their customers in the highest regard, and that is a quality that matters.

Since I became and adult I have had some level of AAA coverage. Now that I have had my account for 5+ years, I must say that AAA has lived up to the enormous expectations placed on them from me. Let’s start with the actual service. AAA seems to have contracts with all the most reputable vendors regardless of where you live, whether it’s roadside service, collision repair, glass replacement, or just about anything you can think of.

I have had to file a claim multiple times due to rocks or other debris hitting my windshield and sure enough, the company AAA is contracted with has come through for me every time in a professional manner, in all cases either waving my deductible or significantly helping with it. It feels nice to file a claim and essentially know your monthly premium is paying for itself.

As far as roadside assistance goes, AAA providers are also at the top of their class. With a phone call that only takes a couple minutes, coupled with automatic text alerts letting you know exactly when to expect someone out to help you, it’s easy to feel safe and completely taken care of from the moment you first speak to a representative, right to the moment that the serviceman says “I’m finished”, and you’re back on the road again like nothing ever happened.

Customer service is a fine line in the insurance business. Either you have great service, or you don’t. Thankfully, AAA hits the mark in this area as well. AAA is the only company that I don’t dread picking up the phone to make changes or ask questions regarding my account, I feel that I have the freedom to see an issue handled correctly right away, and I have never once felt like I inconvenienced any of the helpful individuals I speak with on the phone.

When I’m not sure on something regarding my policy, I never hesitate to ask, if I’m not sure if I have enough coverage for a certain area, I also never hesitate to ask, because their reps are so welcoming and helpful. If there are any discounts available to me, they are given and proactively applied to my policy.

How could I be happier? AAA is a winner in my book, and I can see myself being a customer and keeping them a part of my family for a very long time.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this insurance company.

I am only 22 years old, however, I have been in 5 car accidents in my vehicles (not at fault in any of them). AAA has been nothing but a pleasure in taking care of these issues in a very timely mannor. In my past two car accidents,

I have had substantial damage done to my car, and required some chiropractic care. My insurance company worked with me very closely in making sure that I got care right away. They made sure that the insurance company of the other person that hit my vehicle was taking care of the full amount. Everyone I have spoken to on the phone has been very polite and professional with me. It was a nice change from when I had to talk to the insured’s insurance company (progressive). My whole family has AAA insurance and I would no recommend any other one.

Aside from car accidents, I have also locked my keys inside of my car and had my car tire come off of the wheel well. They have been quick to help every single time. . My mom’s car, and sister’s car have both died from the batteries dying. AAA’s roadside assistance has been able to come out and tow both of the vehicles to our nearest shop in order to get fixed.

Being a Plus member of AAA’s insurance is well worth the cost. Between their great service, impeccable roadside assistance, and other great perks, I am very pleased with this insurance company!

My family and I have used AAA as my primary Insurer for the last 10 years.

I became a AAA member first of all by contacting them regarding their Roadside Assistance Program. This was something we felt we needed as a family when we found ourselves raising teenagers who were driving their first cars, usually older models that sometimes failed and left them stranded while driving around town or going to an from work or school. Use of Roadside Assistance helped us out of a jam many times, and we all felt it was a good value.

When the rising costs of our other Home, Umbrella and Auto insurance became an issue, our AAA Agent offered to quote our Insurance needs and offer discounts for multi-policies, Credit Union Membership, etc and actually gave us better coverage at a much reduced rate from our previous insurer. We were happy to save money and get better coverage, and keep our Roadside Assistance all for a very low rate.

We have found working with AAA to be very easy. Most easy tasks can be done on their website, through the use of the 800 number, or contacting the local AAA Insurance Office in town. Over the years we have changed vehicles, drivers, and bought a new home while still keeping our policies and maintaining a relationship with AAA.

Another great perk I forgot to mention earlier is that the Roadside Assistance Program offers many merchant discounts to members. Showing your AAA card at participating brick and mortar establishments can save you money, and also using the website you can save money on your online shopping.

Give AAA a try! It has been a positive experience for us. Great coverage and good rates.||

The reviews researched three years ago were positive enough for us to switch all our insurance to AAA. I wish I had researched further. The rates are reasonable and we’ve had no claims, but the service just to pay your account and ask questions is so horrible, I shudder to think what would happen with a claim. It’s difficult to tell, but it appears that service varies wildly from state to state. Can anyone reply to that?

      1. My car got hit by a person insured by AAA on 01/07/2013
      2. AAA Claims rep delayed any action for me till she said she spoke with their insured.
      3. Turned out that the claims rep did not have the correct telephone number for their insured, I gave it to her.
      4. The claims rep rudely explained that she mailed me the paperwork necessary on Jan 18 to get my car repaired. She was indignant that I was questioning the continuing delays.
      5. I spoke with her supervisor, he emailed and faxed me the paperwork I needed and should have gotten a long time ago. The supervisor’s solution took only about ten minutes, if that long at all.
      LESSONS LEARNED:
As long as AAA has people like the claims rep I was dealing with, a person should be very careful in deciding if AAA is a good insurance company and does provide good customer service. I have them for roadside assistance only and will have to think if I want to hang on to them because I can get some discounts on hotels, etc., or drop them and another roadside service because if I ever need them I don’t know what vtype of service I will get from them.

Strike ONE: In Washington state, I contacted my agent as soon as the one accident on my record “fell off” (became older than three years) — because I knew I’d be qualified for lower premiums at that point. Due to the age of my car, my limited driving and my good driving habits, I hadn’t carried Collision in some time. The agent told me that yes, I qualified for lower premiums, but only if I purchased Collision. When I complained about this to state regulators (trying to force me to buy coverage I didn’t need or want), AAA management said I must have “misunderstood”.

Strike TWO: In Wisconsin, the legislature lowered the minimum coverage that drivers must carry. Again, as a skillful, safe driver using my car less these days, I made it clear to my AAA agent that I wanted to carry the lowest allowable Liability coverage. Not only did they take forever to get back to me on lowering my coverage, but never told me that my limits were ALREADY higher than what they had to be (before the new state law took effect).

Strike THREE: A small Comp claim, for a smashed window, torn-up dashboard and stolen stereo. Because a needed wire harness (for the defroster) could only be obtained used (via salvage), they tried to also sneak a used WINDOW past me, from the same salvage yard. They argued, incorrectly, that the clause that permits them to substitute a non-original-equipment manufacturer permitted them to substitute used parts for new, even when new was available. Clearly, they’re not used to insureds who have law degrees and know how to interpret a policy. Turned out they were fighting me and wasting my time over very few dollars.

Our family has been with AAA for over 12 years. I was a satisfied customer for the most part. I never really shopped around for car insurance quotes, and never really felt the need.

The rate I had always paid in the past seemed reasonable enough to me, but truthfully I wasn’t researching other policy rates enough to make a valid comparison (plus, I think I was more interested in all the cool membership benefits than in whether I was getting the best possible rate on my car insurance. They had me hooked with those Plus membership benefits).

However, about a year and a half ago our family went through a major financial hardship and knew the only way to come through it was by seriously tightening up our budget. We had to make a lot of sacrifices. The AAA car insurance was the first bill we took a hard look at. After shopping around and getting at least 7 other quotes, we realized that our current AAA rates were on the higher end of what was available to us.

Unfortunately, the policies on 2 of our family cars ended up being transferred to another company at a much lower rate, but we still kept one policy with AAA (an older 2000 Honda, now being used by our daughter). Other than the rates being a little too high for our wallets right now, we still love being members and couldn’t bring ourselves to sever all ties. After all, we’ve never had anything but good service from them. They’re always friendly and ready to help.

We had to file 2 separate claims in the last 4 years and both were handled to our complete satisfaction (a cracked windshield after a bad storm and a minor fender bender). I don’t see our family totally leaving AAA anytime soon, and hopefully we can even return the other cars back to AAA in the near future.

    I love my auto-insurance company!

The only complaint I have is the universal complaint for all auto insurance companies; that the rates are too high if you are young. I am a young driver, but that doesn’t mean I am incompetent. I do believe that it is hard for younger people to get ahead in the world while having to pay high rates for car insurance.

That being said, I also understand that younger people are riskier drivers and auto insurance companies must protect themselves. I receive new membership cards frequently from AAA, and e-mail updates about AAA insurance-card-holder-specific discounts and deals, which are actually pretty amazing! They do seem to really take an interest in their customers, which is a huge selling point for me.

I want to know that my insurance company will actually work with me and for me, rather than just take my monthly payments. Our rates were extremely good when we had three people on the plan for two cars. However, when we got a third car, one for each member the rates increased again, but not too badly.

They also offer great discounts, such as a good-grades discount for students. It takes a decent amount of money off of the payments and I feel like that is a good incentive for students to do well and feel as if they can earn their car. I really appreciate that AAA tries to make it easier for people who are just starting out.

They have always been so helpful with roadside assistance, why not also trust them with insurance?

After inquiring about insurance through several companies I decided to go with AAA insurance. setting up my policy wasn’t complicated and was easy< never had to leave my house, policy was explained and approved right over the phone. Payment was taken immediately off my debt card. Easy payment was arranged to have monthly payment deducted right from my checking account the same day of every month.

Part of the offer was a AAA membership,(roadside assistant)in addition to insurance quote. A few months later I had a situation from my past come up that caused my premium to be a little hire, and without notifying me of the change in coast, the insurance company was able to over ride my roadside assistant membership, by canceling me to allocate for the need to pay higher policy rate.

Unaware of this I called AAA to help get my keys out of my car. and the next day I needed help on the side of the road. Sure AAA came to help me and later sent me a bill for the two service calls totaling more then 120$. i called AAA roadside assistant, and was told my account had been compromise, due to the increase in policy amount. when I called insurance agent I was devastated to hear what had took place causing me to lapse my policy.

AAA is a rip-off. Thyey have to be one of the highest auto insurance companies around. I have been with them for the last 40 years. I do have to admit that it was 40 years too long. You think they would reward their loyal, good driver, accident free customers, but they don’t. Look elsewhere for insurance, their are other way cheaper insurance companies around who don’t have to account for overhead in other areas like vacation planning. What’s worse is they make no excuses for milking your pockets. Very bad customer loyalty program.

I’ve been with AAA now for roughly 3 or 4 years. I switched from State Farm after 13 or 14 years, after they offered savings of $1,200 annually. They were one of the first insurance carriers that decided to use credit scores to determine rates. We were one of the first ones through that system and got an outstanding deal. I made the switch mainly due to location. I was moving from an old apartment to a town house three miles away from each other, and because we switched zip codes, our rates were going to be going up $50 a month. This new quote included renter’s insurance and eventually transferred over to our home insurance when we bought our house in 2007.

My first experience though with having to actually use it was within this past year. I just dropped off my daughter after being on the highway for 20 minutes. On my way back, my car started to sputter and make an odd noise. It had trouble getting up to speed and accelerating past 60 MPH. About 10 minutes, on my way back, while still on the highway, my Hyundai Sonata popped. The car immediately shut down and off. I made my way to the side of the road and noticed smoke.

I grabbed my other daughter out of the car, and almost instantly I could see flames coming from underneath the hood. Within a couple minutes, the car was fully engulfed in flames. I talked to an agent from AAA shortly after and they were overly accommodating. They sent out an adjuster the following day and immediately totaled out the vehicle. They were quite speedy and proceeded to get me into another car within 2 days. They then launched an investigation as to why it happened to recoup any costs that I may have had above and beyond what I should have had to pay. Later, we found out that it was caused by the dealership not replacing the drain plug after an oil change. After the investigation was over, I received my deductible as it was determined to be not my fault.

Also, whenever I needed them they were prompt and easy to deal with. Most, if not all of the paperwork was handled by them, and within a couple months, everything was settled. I had a new car, and I didn’t have to pay a dime. This is how it should always be handled. I highly recommend AAA

Awful, awful, awful! I HATE AAA! I called several months ago to add a car I inherited from my parents. We wanted just enough insurance on it to make it legal to drive because we intended on selling it, but wanted potential drivers to be able to test drive it and we also wanted to have the option of driving it. After we sold the car, I called to cancel the insurance, and found out it had been improperly insured. We have also been given wrong quotes every 6 months and the rates kept increasing dramatically, even though we’ve never had any claims with our cars, received any tickets, nothing! We started out paying $70 a month, and it went up to $112 a month for just one Hyundai Elantra! And we’re a young, professional, married couple in a great neighborhood. We were being charged like we were 16 year old boys driving Camaros! Run far, far away from AAA!

AAA is a great insurance company. I use them for automobile insurance. One reason I like AA A is because they offer a variety of coverages. The agent I spoke to on the phone told me the different limits that I could purchase for bodily injury, property damage, medical, comprehensive, collision, and underinsured/uninsured. They were able to run a variety of situations for me and tell me the

For example, they have a multi-policy discount; this means that purchasing multiple lines of insurance (i.e. rental insurance and automobile insurance) will result in a larger discount. They also offer discounts for certain professions; for example, both my wife and I are educators and that qualifies for a discount. In addition, they also give discounts if you are a good driver.

I called the DMV, and they let me know that I only had one point on my record (for a signs and signals violation). Because I am considered a good driver, this was an additional discount. Furthermore, AAA will reward you for being a good customer. They have something called a dividend. This depends on the amount of profits that the company makes in the previous year. If they do really well, the customer gets a portion of their earnings back. This can then be applied to their premium at renewal.

Third, I like AAA because they have great customer service. In this past year, I got in a car accident that wasn’t my fault. Someone rear-ended me in the back while I was stopped at a red light. This caused significant damage to the fender of my car. When I called AAA to let them know what happened, I didn’t have to go through long, automated messages before I could speak to a customer service agent. Once I was connected to an agent, I was able to get things handled very quickly. The agent let me know about the closest rental car agency, and he told me that I would be covered $30 per day for getting a rental car. They also gave me free towing of my vehicle to a shop to get things fixed. Within a week, I was able to get my car back in mint condition. Aside from serious issues such as car accidents, AAA also helps with minor issues.

I have what is called a AAA membership, which is super helpful when it comes to planning vacations. This is equivalent to having roadside assistance wherever I travel. If I get a flat tire or the battery of my car dies, I can always be assured that I can call an agent and someone will come to my location and help me where I am. When I do travel, I also appreciate all the perks that come with having a AAA membership. This includes discounts at certain hotels and travel locations. I also get nice maps to help me know where I am, and I can use AAA agents to help me purchase airplane tickets and tickets to other shows. All in all, AAA is an affordable, quality insurance plan that gets 5/5 stars for the 3 year s that I’ve used them.

I love my Auto Club insurance. Not only is the cost reasonable, but they keep giving me a discount every year in the form of a rebate. I have been with the auto club now for over 20 years, and I would never think of going anywhere else.

Earlier this year I had a small fender bender, where I accidentally kissed the bumper of the car in front of me. Sure enough, they had to get the little scratch repaired so we did the auto insurance tango. The people at triple A were so nice and accomodating, and the best part is that my premium didn’t go up.

When you combine this with the normal AAA services, you can feel confident driving the roads in Southern California. I have the exta coverage that gives me 100 miles of towing and 5 different occasions of roadside assistance, including bringing me gas when I run out, which I have been know to do. And the people who come to help you with your car are always the nicest. In fact just a few weeks ago I had to have my Ford Explorer towed home because of a busted valve.

Oh, and one more thing: I get a discount because I have two cars on the same policy. Its a considerable discount also. I would get an even bigger discount if I could add my home insurance, but unfortunately that would take earthquake bolting here in Southern California.

Bottom like- I love my Triple A.

I have always heard good things about the auto club, so when it came time to getting insurance on my own car, I looked at all my options. I checked online and got a couple free quotes, but even for an old, salvaged car, the premiums estimated seemed quite high. Because my car is a 1990, and has a salvaged title, I decided to go with Liability insurance from AAA. When you sign up for insurance, you also get Roadside assistance and the works. One time I witnessed a gentleman in a navy uniform who had locked his keys in the car, and his insurance didn’t offer roadside.

I called AAA and they were able to help us unlock the car, although it was not my car. They said as long as I was present, and had my card, I can help this guy out. And here is another example of great service that AAA provides: after I pulled into my parking spot, I realized my tire had popped, and I didn’t have the tools to change to my spare. After calling AAA, the dispatch told me my mechanic had several other people ahead of me that he had to take care of, and that it would take about 40 minutes to 2 hours. While anticipating a 2 hour wait, I received a phone call only 20 minutes after I spoke to the dispatch.

The mechanic not only had the necessary tools, he said he carried extras, and I was able to buy my own tool! He was done in just a few minutes, going over each individual lug, to make sure it was on nice and snug. He was very kind. He returned after a couple minutes to triple check that the lugs on the spare were tight enough. I have been in 2 accidents in the past year. When I had my first accident, I panicked and had no idea what to do. I took out my insurance card, and called the claims number. The very nice lady calmed me down, and explained exactly what I needed to do at that point, i.e. exchange insurance information, take photos of damages, etc.

My insurance didn’t go up right away, and I was able to finish off the year without having any changes to my premium. The following year, my premium went up about $300 for the year. My payments were more than what I can afford, and an Auto Club rep helped me make my payments more affordable by making some modifications to my account, and triple-checking any discounts I may qualify for.

If I am ever unable to make a payment, AAA representatives can always work out a way to accommodate for a difficult situation. For example, the due dates for all of my bills used to be all the same, which made it difficult for me to get all of them paid off, considering I only get paid 2 times a month. AAA will find and issue discounts for things like, making on-time payments, being a good student with qualifying GPA, car mileage, and even for just being a long-time customer.

My fiancée also has AAA, and we will definitely bundle our insurance when we are married. Unfortunately, I have not had the best luck with cars, driving, and accidents. But I do feel fortunate to have such an amazing insurance company standing behind me and helping me out every step of the way.

I would not recommend AAA to anyone now. I received a letter after a month stating they had to cancel my policy because of “special equipment” Well the agent knew about my show car and the equipment and he said they will cover me. I paid the money, joined their club and then they hit me with this bomb. Beside losing a month worth of money, I know have to find another insurance company to cover my car. I really didn’t appreciate how they handled this. False misreprentation and ignorant agents is not the way to win over a customer. Please change your name to triple FFF.

I’ve been with AAA for about four months, and I’m pretty happy with it. The sales process was very easy to navigate and the agent I dealt with was really sweet and energetic. I haven’t had to make any claims, so I can’t comment on that process, but the fact that there’s an office very close to my house reassures me. There’s a lot to be said for conducting business in person. As for the price, I’m quite pleased. I shopped around a few other places over the phone, and it was a huge hassle that didn’t yield any good rates.

When I went into the AAA office, I was able to get a quote, make a decision, transfer my car registration, and finalize everything in less than 40 minutes. As I say this, bear in mind that my car is very old, doesn’t have any special safety features or cool extras, and I am not a member of any particular group. People who do have good cars or who are engineers, teachers, or part of another privileged group will probably get even more favorable rates!

Now we come to the negative: there is no way to pay by credit card, whether in person, online, or over the phone. It is possible to pay with debit card (and maybe check?) with an automated phone system or by calling your representative. I understand that there are transaction fees that the company has to swallow when they accept credit card payments, but AAA is a nation-wide company and it seems like the kind of thing they ought to have.

When I signed up, my representative told me that they were testing out a credit card payment system, but the phone number was deactivated when I tried to use it, and I had to call my rep and give her the payment info. That wasn’t a terrible thing due to her cheery attitude, and I would not really have minded phoning in my payments every month. The next month, however, I had to begin paying with debit when they completely abandoned the program and refused credit cards.

Because the rates are really good, this credit card nonsense won’t make me switch providers. However, for a company’s only flaw, it’s a pretty big one. Many people prefer to pay with credit card because a lot of cards provide cashback, benefits, or miles. AAA is really missing out here

I am from family who has been with AAA for over 35 years. Growing up I always complained that if we switched insurances we could save money. I hated paying my portion of the car insurance while knowing that we could get Insurance cheaper elsewhere.

But my negative opinion of AAA changed last year when I was struck by an apparently drunk hit and run motorist on my bicycle. I suffered many skin abrasions, a shoulder separation and two of my teeth were smashed into pieces at the gums. I had heath insurance so my shoulder surgery would have been included, however the 30+ trips to the dentist to fix my teeth through dental implants would not have been. I roughly estimate the cost of all this dental work to be close to $80,000.

I would not have been able to afford this if not for having AAA insurance. They have even given me money for gas to go to these appointments as well as the consoling words of a claims rep (when asked what services are covered) “Get the best you can.”

I was also informed that I might get some sort of pain and suffering settlement for the permanent scar and small deformities that I am left with. Thanks to AAA insurance I have been able to go through the process of healing as painlessly financially as possible.

I have had AAA insurance and home insurance for over 10 years. I also had one car totaled, about 4 accidents (Not at fault) by myself. My wife had 3 accidents (Not at fault) a few tickets, speeding, illegal u turn and so forth. all these happened over the years.
As long as we were not at fault the deductible was waived. My insurance has not gone up for any of these.
We had no problem at all. I only had to make the first call and give all the details. The adjuster calls me the next day as promised and goes through everything and keeps calling till the car is fixed.
Over all i have had a very good experience with the auto club. They act very professional and they follow up with the repairs.
After reading the reviews of a few insurance companies. I know what i need to do now.

I’ve had AAA auto and home insurance for over 10 years. I have never had an auto claim, until two and a half weeks ago when a driver ran a yield and we collided. He was 100% at fault and was issued a citation. I asked for a rental and was told “NO”, if I wanted to pay for one myself I could then try to get refunded from the other driver’s insurance company. I didn’t feel very confident that I’d be refunded so I’ve been without a vehicle for two and a half weeks now and still no settlement. My car was totaled, the other driver was at fault and AAA will no way waive the deductible. I call and leave messages, I don’t receive a return phone call sometimes for days – even after several messages left. They have made an offer on my vehicle now, about 70% of what it will cost me to replace it. I will be forced to take their offer but once I cash the check and complete the claim I’ll pull all four vehicles, my home owners and my farm insurance business. I would never do business with them again and I advise all who will listen to not buy insurance from AAA.

I signed with the Conroe, TX AAA office. They are as close to criminal as you can get. I asked them specifically if I canceled would I be penalized they said no. I was penalized. I was given a quote, discontinued my current car insurance provider based on that quote. Signed on the dotted line and paid up front for 6 months, and less than a week later they send me a letter saying sorry your quote is wrong and added over 100 dollars each 6 months which I was then obligated to pay. They are very nice people but cronies in business. Do not get AAA car insurance, they are in the business to make money at your expense.

To get home insurance, you better be prepared for a home inspection on their

One person tells you one thing the next tells you something else. I am having to do all the foot work and have received terrible customer care. I haven’t had a problem with AAA. I have been with them for the past two years after leaving American Family. My premiums are lower and they are always very responsive to my questions. My agent was very helpful when I made the switch. She helped me to choose the best auto plans for our two cars and also gave us a discount on our renter’s insurance policy.

In addition, she was able to get us a discount on AAA motorist coverage which is very nice to have. Finally, she was also able to review our policy this year and found some additional discounts for us so instead of increasing, my premium was lowered this year. I have recommended and will continue to recommend AAA to my friends, family and colleagues.

We had a very bad experience with AAA. We were fooled by their fake prices. Their actual prices were not the same as what we got from the online quote.

The service is too buggy as their phone numbers never be reached and we keep calling them and we were in no way to reach them when we had a problem. We were so frustrated with AAA auto insurance and thereafter we stopped buying auto insurance from them.

It is an another nightmare. When we thought of claiming for accidents, we struggled a lot and finally could get a very small amount of claims after a very long time. We wasted our energy, time and money.we would never recommend AAA auto insurance for anybody as we do not want others also to suffer from them.

I use the insurance company AAA and it is fantastic. The prices that I am charged are cheap, with a good deductible. Also, since I travel a lot I get discounts and free maps where I travel to. For instance, I was in Tampa Bay on a business trip, and all I had to do was find a AAA store and they helped me out. I was given a map of Tampa, Florida, and some of the neighboring states and popular attractions in case I wanted to visit them. I really love the company and in addition to these amenities they have great lawyers and don’t raise your insurance if you get in a crash. They know what they are doing when dealing with certain auto crashes in order to make sure that you are safe, and free of any lawsuits.

They make it very easy to buy or sell a car, or to renew documents, without having to deal with the DMV. They also provide a lot of assistance and info for those who want to travel. Moreover, they allowed me to “grandfather” in a discount from my previous policy which they do not even offer anymore. In fact, I have several discounts which help to lower my annual premiums. Also, Triple A has always come through for me when my car does not start or has some other issue that requires me to call for a tow truck. They have never failed me.

AAA has been a great car insurance experience for me. I’ve been insured with them now for more than 5 years and have never had any issues. Their customer service representatives are pleasant and don’t act like they need to get you off the phone in less than 60 seconds, and most changes can be handled over the phone. On the one occasion when I did not receive a particular phone and had to call again, the rep was courteous and apologetic. If I were to have any issue, it’s the time you are sometimes forced to wait “on hold” while waiting for the next available customer service representative.

One of the best features is the maps and travel guides that are provided. The maps are great because they outline construction and alternative travel routes. They provide these trip planners called trip ticks which are the best and most useful things in the world. They are flip style maps that go through you whole travel and driving schedule as you want it. The best part is that these are included in your membership also. How amazing. This is not the only thing. They also offer roadside service for trouble you may have on the road. This included road trouble, gas problems, car problems, and most anything you can think of that has to do with your car. By far the best value for the money.

When I was in a bad accident a tow service was dispatched to me within a half hour. A rental car was arranged and a body shop was recommended. I found the service to be excellent. My calls were always returned and my questions were answered.

When contacting AAA about changes in my policy it was very easy and fast. They were able to fax or mail to me any needed paperwork. Their rates might be higher than some other insurance companies however I feel that it is a better quality insurance company. Other insurance companies have hidden costs and strict policies that do not help the customer. I have not come across this in the fifteen years with AAA. I would recommend AAA to anyone looking for a new insurance carrier.

I switched to AAA about six months ago and could not be happier. The membership benefits are impressive allowing members to get travel information. I recently moved across the country and the guide books and maps I received from my agent were valued higher than my membership fees, saving me a lot of money. The automatic bill pay is also convenient so I don’t have to worry about sending out a payment in the mail. It also saves trees since I do not get a paper bill. As far as the price, they were significantly cheaper than anywhere else. I had an automobile accident last year and the rate I received from AAA was even more reasonable than my previous insurance carrier. I have not had a claim yet so I cannot attest to how it is to deal with them on that end of things. I am impressed with the other services they offer such as roadside assistance. I would definitely recommend them to others.

I have used AAA auto insurance for almost 5 years. I have had a good experience with them throughout that time. I have used three different agents, in there different cities. All were friendly and professional and answered all of the questions I had. They offered me extra deals when available without it being too intrusive.

I have never had to place a claim, so I can not speak to that part of the business. I can say that they handled all of our business in a professional and accurate manner. Their rates were fair, though not always the lowest I could have gotten. I feel like they would take care of any claim experience fairly and rapidly, so have not attempted to switch to cutrate insurance. I am very pleased with my experience with AAA auto insurance.

I have been insured with AAA for over 8 years now. I have been pretty satisfied with the company for the most part. I feel they are very price competitive and legitimate. The best part about going thru AAA are the discounts (good student discount, group Discount, premiere credit discount, etc.) I have my monthly insurance taken out of my checking account every month and receive a discount for being a member of the local credit union. Customer service is easy to work with. Locations are usually convenient and frequent. Even if you can’t reach your insurance representative there is always someone who can help you. If you take advantage of the many discounts offered AAA is definately worth taking a look at for auto insurance.

The first time I went into the AAA office I was a bit intimidated at the great variety of services the company offered. I was referred by a family member to check out AAA since they had been a member for nearly two decades. I wasn’t much of believer in AAA because of high rates that many people were claiming this company had. Much to my surprise, I found AAA car insurance to be significantly lower than any other insurers out in the market. When I was waiting to be seen, there was numerous periodicals to keep you busy and nice cushy seats. A tremendous asset to AAA is the customer service and efficiency that they operate at. The duration between sign in and receiving help was nearly four times faster than DMV or any other insurer. I would highly recommend AAA for all your insurance needs. To date, I have both my cars and homes insured through AAA, talk about savings.

I’ve never had a bad experience with AAA. My husband has had a few minor traffic incidents and so we have had to deal with AAA’s claims department quite a bit, unfortunately. They are always so helpful and courteous, handle everything very professionally and they always keep us up to date (with follow-up phone calls) with any progress in the matter. I am very pleased with them.
