I am a Customer of 21 century for over 30 years , it was a good Co based in woodland Hills CA .It is now part of Farmer’s insurance , they define mediocrity at every level .
Non guilty in a car accident they raise the premium without notification .
You call them , you get transferred to someone else and someone else to end up with the same person which promptly hang up .
Never been late in any payment for over 35 years . save your time , RUN AWAY .

I had good experience with 21st in terms of the price. But once I met with an accident and the cops blamed at my fault because there was no witnesses and benefit of the doubt gave to the other driver. I had to claim the damage for both my car and the other car. My car repair cost close to being totaled . This was my first accident in my entire 33 yrs of driving and my first claim with them. Now they sent me notice for non renewal because I claimed a lot of money ( close to my cost of the car). So they are good when you dont claim anything, and drop you off if even if you claim for the first time. C’mon I have been paying the premiums for the insurance for total cost of my car why they sent me the notice for NOn renewal for just one claim.

I have really been happy with my overall experience with 21st Century auto insurance. Their pricing, service quality, and website make this company my favorite auto insurance provider ever. First of all, the price is right. They had the lowest quote for me with multiple discounts available so I was pleasantly surprised with that.

My overall price is lower overall than my previous company, (who I got using a “lowest price finder” type service, and 21st Century’s services overall surpass any company I have been with in 20+ years of being an insured driver!

Secondly, their customer service adds major value for me. Their phone reps are well trained and courteous which is a big plus for me. As far as I can tell their reps are in-country which is nice when you’re dealing with something important when you’re agitated, like a claim. When I called for a quote they were very patient in explaining all of my options and any time I called in to change my policy it was a snap to get exactly what I wanted. All questions I have called with were always explained to my satisfaction and claims are easy to process and understand here.

For me, the website is not necessarily a deal breaker but being able to conduct business with a company online EASILY is a definite plus. With 21st Century they have an excellent, easy to operate and understand website from which you can handle payments, modify policy, ask questions, pretty much anything you could want to do. A big frustration for me is when a site is a pain/fussy/confusing when you need to make a payment but this is not the case here, they have a very well designed site. These things make 21st Century a great provider for me.

A little background: I am a woman in my late 30’s no points or moving violations for the past few years and I do get a little more products from them for my needs (i.e.. I get more than the cheapest policy). They do offer good amount of discounts so I highly recommend looking into them especially if you have a decent record.

worst car insurance i ever had. i had a claim agents that had no direct answers i had alot of maybe i think even i don’t know in the written info on the loss of my car alot of unwritten prices that that cant tell me what they are all the way from its because we are involved in the claim and i told them isnt that why we pay you to be involved then its taxes on the car but for what iam not buying a car there junking it then its part of your deductible which still doesn’t add up then the kicker is they came to the garage today to tow it without telling me thank god the lady inside the garage stop them because i didn’t even have a chance to clean out my personal effects so all in all the low monthly payment they quote you at for the premium isnt worth it whats that saying you get what you pay for so my advice beware and stay away from 21 century and car is valued at 1380.00 they are trying to give us 580.00

We have been with 21st at least 6 years. No claims, no tickets, no accidents. Our premiums have gone up $20. – $30. every 6 months. This time they increased more than $75.00.
Last year, just 3 days before our renewal date, we added a 3rd vehicle. Because we were sent the new proof of insurance cards and were told that they would charge an additional amount (I believe it was like $17 and change) for the few days remaining in our previous 6 month coverage, we figured the renewal premium included the 3rd vehicle. However, when the next renewal policy arrived, 6 months later, I noticed that the 3rd vehicle was not included. I called 21st. We received an updated bill which not only included the 3rd vehicle for the new billing period, but, they had also billed us for the previous 6 month policy which they had forgot to add and include the 3rd vehicle. Even though that vehicle was not insured for those months they had back billed us for them. I called the PA Ins. Commission to ask their opinion, they suggested I file a complaint. I then called 21st Century to inform them that I had contacted the PA Ins. Commission and they suggested I file a complaint. They immediately transferred me to a supervisor who removed the additional charge. However, we have recently received our new 6 month renewal and it has increased by almost $75.00. I guess they are trying to make up for that 6 month premium. We will be switching carriers.

I’ve been with 21st Century for more than 15 years. In that time I’ve regularly checked other auto insurance companies who offered “discount” or “best prices” on auto insurance. But, each time I’ve reviewed the offers 21st always came out on tip. Moreover, every time I’ve needed to contact 21st century they’ve responded promptly and provided me with the appropriate service I desired.

On the couple of occasions where I needed to work with 21st century because my car was damaged they also provided me with very good service. That’s not to say I got the perfect payment on my damage claim, but I doubt that any other insurance company would have done any different. It’s also interesting that 21st century beat any other so-called “bundled” insurance service which promised lower prices. For example, I checked with a couple of auto insurance services with bundled service (e.g. home and auto insurance combined) and compared their prices with 21st Century’s non-bundled price for auto insurance alone.

The result was that 21st Century’s unbundled auto insurance price came out less than or within a few dollars of the other companies price for auto insurance bundled with a home insurance policy. It was not worth making a change so I stuck with 21st Century.

I haven’t yet considered bundling with 21st Century because their home insurance product is from Farmer’s, which recently bought the company and it’s home insurance prices are generally higher than you can get elsewhere. I think 21st Century has a clear advantage when it comes to auto insurance. It’s certainly a company you ought to look into and compare with others when you are shopping for auto insurance.

I am insured with 21st Century auto insurance. I have been insured with them for roughly the past two years. When I started shopping for auto insurance I checked around at various sites that compared the rates amongst the many insurers. I found that 21st Century offered me the best rate out of anybody.

We have two vehicles in the household, one of which was financed at the time. 21st gave us the best rate on comprehensive insurance for the one that we still owed money on at a very reasonable rate. My other vehicle is older and I only required the basic liability insurance on. The price was extremely low for that vehicle. All together, we spend less than 720 dollars each year on car insurance.

Another nice perk was that our rates have consistently went down every six months that we didn’t have a claim. Thankfully we haven’t had to file a claim with them yet, but it is nice to be rewarded for safe driving. We were contacted by them a few times to try to bundle other insurance plans with them. I’m not a fan of cold calls, so I didn’t really appreciate them calling out of the blue like that, but it wasn’t that big of a deal really.

Overwhelmingly I have been very pleased by the pricing we have been given and the perks of safe driving. If I had to do it all over, I wouldn’t change anything. They have been a very nice company to deal with. They are highly recommended by me.

My experience with 21st Century insurance was extremely pleasant. The price of the insurance itself was awesome.

Furthermore, one of the things I really enjoyed about this insurance company was how easy it was to set up payment arrangements. They were very understanding when you’d call in to try to get them to extend your due date. This was extremely valuable since I’ve heard of other insurance policies that are not as understanding and do not hesitate to cancel your policy. In addition, their customer service representatives were very courteous and you could tell that they were genuinely trying to help you with whatever the issue was.

However, one of my very few complaints about this company was that at times I did encounter a bit of a long wait time when trying to reach customer service, but their pleasant service made it worth the wait.

There was this one incident last year where we were out in Mexico and we were involved in a serious accident that was caused by another drunk driver. We needed medical attention, and my mother was even taken by the ambulance and had several broken bones. Our insurance company took care of us throughout that tough time and made it as easy as possible for us. The car rental process, the medical bills, etc could have become a hassle for us, but they made it as comfortable and easy as possible. Furthermore, we all ended up getting a nice check for all that we went through.

I definitely feel comfortable behind the wheel with 21st Century as my insurance provider. I would definitely recommend them!
