We have used Progressive for quite a few years now have mostly been happy with their service. Progressive requires that everyone in the household be on the same insurance; so since we have people moving into our home with us to live of late, and because they do not want Progressive insurance, those of us using Progressive will need to find another carrier, if we can, who doesn’t have this requirement.

Handled my total loss claim great. Claims adjuster was fast and friendly. Not so happy about the customer service in the other departments though. They really don’t seem to understand or care that families can’t afford price hikes for no reason.

Was pretty happy with this company and they paid a claim quickly for a fire claim we had on our vehicle. Then they jacked up my rates and wouldn’t take my 18-year-old son off my policy even though he was not living with me any more.

What can I honestly say that’s really bad about Progressive? I’ve been with them for about 8 years now and I’ve seen them only grow and improve as a company. My original reason to started at progressive was that they would give you easy digestible quotes from all their competitors, even if they weren’t the best ones around. This always struck me as unusual for a insurance company. But it was that simple act that made them so easy to trust. Luckily for me at the time they were also the lowest I could get for the coverage I was asking for, which in itself is fantastic. They have a very wide range of coverage depending on how much you really want to spend. But considering the fantastic deal you’re getting I could wholehearted recommend full coverage. The costumer service is fantastic too. The few times I’ve had to interact with them they’ve been wonderful people and genuinely act like they care and what to help you. They clearly know what’s they’re doing. I never felt the sense they were just “doing their job”. These were real people who want to provide a good service to you. Since then I’ve only been in 1 accident over the 8 years I’ve been with Progressive. Thanks to the fantastic coverage I barely had to pay a dime. I honestly couldn’t be happier with them. It’s hard to sometimes tell what you’re getting with companies. But with Progressive, they couldn’t possibly be more on the nose. They’re the most upfront about their service as insurance companies can be. If you value honestly, great service, and great deal, you can look no further than Progressive.

My husband and I have used progressive auto insurance for about six maybe seven years. We switched from AAA because Progressive was able to get us much better rates. As the years have gone by I think they have only gotten better. We used the snap shot and save 30% off our yearly rate. Then we found out that we were put on the platinum savings level and that saves us even more. Our final discount was for me being a business owner. It lowered our bill about 20 bucks a month. We have two cars fully insured and I love it. I also feel super secure using their loan forgiveness since we have a new car that is still only in the 1st year of its loan! I like that safety net knowing we will be ok if anything even happens. We thankfully have been good so far. Recently they added a savings account though which I signed up for right away and it lets us gain 50 dollars each term we go accident free. The if wee are ever in an accident we can use it towards our deductible! This is a huge peace of mind. I feel like they offer so much that keeps me stress free. I would never switch to another company! They really are awesome I always get terrific customer service and never worry about anything with how easy the automatic billing is plus the discount we get for using automatic billing! Over all they are doing a great job

I’ve been with Progressive for just over ten years. I’ve never had a problem with them. I had a problem with my old insurance. I had bought a new car and my old insurance company that had covered me for over ten years wouldn’t insure me. They said they couldn’t insure a new car when there was tropical weather in the area. I was worried. Would no one be able to insure my car. I called up the Progressive Agent in my area and I was insured that very day. They had no policies against insuring my car when it was raining, so I made the switch. Progressive gives me a better rate than my previous insurance. I recently switched my husband over to my policy because we save even more that way. I get a discount for being a long time customer, a discount for owning my home, a discount for going paperless…there are so many ways to save with progressive! I’ve never had to file a claim with Progressive, but there have been many times that I had to request a new card. When my daughter was born I had accidently let my coverage lapse for a day or two. Reinstating coverage took less than ten minutes using the online account. So much can be done online, which is great, because I can do everything I need to without dealing with a live person or getting out of the house. The interface is really clean and simple. I find what I want simply and easily. If I need a new proof of insurance card, I can choose to have it mailed to me or just print it out. I don’t even have to call my agent and no one needs to know I lost my card again! I really love Progressive!

I’ve been a Progressive customer for over 10 years and I’ve never really had any issues to speak of. I haven’t ever filed a claim, and my rates have generally been good. On the few occasions I did have to contact them I was satisfied with the customer service, but not overly impressed. Had I never moved I think that this probably would remained the status quo forever, but that was not to be. Apparently Progressive runs their insurance business in a way that keeps states separated, so that my move to Arizona was identical to me cancelling my policy and then reapplying as a new customer. I lost my longevity bonuses and my rates went up dramatically. It took a while to get everything worked out as I needed to provide a bunch of new information after the move, and when things finally settled down and I got my renewal notice I saw that they raised my rates yet again. So now I’m paying basically double what I paid back home in Washington for the same coverage, and I live in a nicer neighborhood with a house. I lived in an apartment back home. I’ve still never once filed a claim with Progressive nor had any incidents to speak of, but apparently the risk pools are so bad down here I’m forced to pay over a thousand dollars a year more than I did in the past. This situation doesn’t really reflect poorly on the people I’ve spoken to about the situation; the customer service remains just fine, even if the agents can’t do much to help me.

I have been with Progressive for years, and would definitely recommend them to my family and friends. They were the first online car insurance company that I’ve had, and now I will not go back to how things used to be, there really just isn’t a need anymore. I got into a major car accident last year, and I was feeling a little panicked at first because it was the first time that I had an incident and couldnt meet with anybody face to face. But when I called Progressive to report the problem, I spoke to a person right away. The agent asked me some basic questions about the accident, and called a tow company for me. From there, the agent that I was working with kept in contact with me to let me know what my next steps were, where I could choose to have the car repaired, and the benefits of each place. This was really better than meeting with somebody face to face because I didn’t have to go anywhere. Everything went smoothly in the end, even when there were problems with my repairs. The agent communicated with the dealership on my behalf and got everything taken care of. They really do a lot of the work, and thats what I’ll always remember. Other than that, they are very fairly priced and only sell insurance in six month terms. Obviously they are also very friendly and professional from my experiences. I also have a home owner’s insurance through them which made my car insurance even better priced.

I have had Progressive insurance for almost 6 years now. They were my first insurance company that I got on my own when I was dropped from my parents insurance. They have always provided me with excellent customer service over the years and have been flexible in my payment and renewal schedule dates while I have been a student in school the past few years. I was in a semi-serious accident in the fall of 2012 where my car was totaled and there was a medical claim taken out by the driver of the other vehicle. Progressive guided me through the traumatic process with great customer service and took care of everything without affecting my rates or driving record. I have never had a problem with finding information on my policy via their mobile app or their website. Their website has always been easy to use and easy enough for me and my girlfriend to figure out once I put her on my policy. They have been great about reminding us when our bills and policy renewals are due in advance so that we can be prepared. They also provide email paperless billing which has been great since we have moved a couple times and are frequently out of town and don’t receive our snail mail very often. Overall I have received many perks and benefits from the company and that is why I have remained with them over the years and I am extremely satisfied with how they have provided me with discounted rates and great customer service and look forward to continuing business with them over the years.

Progressive is hands down a great insurance company. They aren’t just tons of commercials and no action, like other insurance companies. I have 4 vehicles with them and 3 motorcycles. They have the best prices hands down. I search every 6 months to try and lower my insurance and no one is ever lower than Progressive, so I stick with them. I had a small fender bender where a lady stopped in the middle of the road in front of me, because she thought a car was coming. They ruled me at fault, but progressive fought for my end and ended up suing her what happened. She wanted to claim back pain, but when reviewed she had been in several other accidents and had tried this several times. Progressive got their team on it and made everything great. I wasn’t even stressed about it at all. They took care of their customer, myself. When I call their customer service it is always a positive time. Wait times aren’t long and everyone I speak to is in America, which is always a huge plus. The mobile app is great and it loads quick. It has all the info you can need on their and you can pay bills, make changes, and view everything that you can online, in a simpler format. I would definitely recommend anyone to consider switching to them. I have not thought about changing and will stay with progressive for a long time, recommend everyone I know to switch to them

I’ve been insured with Progressive since 2004 and have never had a bad experience with them. My first contact with them a mere four days after purchasing the policy was to report a claim after my wife had been involved in an accident and even though I was a new customer I was never given a hard time or made to jump through extra hoops as I worked with them. Her medical bills were paid quickly and money she was owed for lost wages was also paid to us very quickly and with a minimum amount of hassle. Since them my experiences with Progressive have continues to be nothing but positive to the point that even if I found insurance with another company for a lower amount I don’t think I’d switch. Every time I’ve had to call them I’ve had my problem dealt with quickly, professionally and with a great deal of efficiency. Their website is very easy to navigate and is setup in such a way that almost any transaction you want to make can be done without talking to an employee; for example, I purchased a new vehicle in November and was able to add the vehicle to my insurance, have a binder sent to the dealer and print out permanent ID cards all online without having to make a phone call. When my son needed insurance for his first vehicle I recommend Progressive to him and his experience has been similar to mine. I’m very happy with Progressive and recommend them whenever I get the chance.

Progressive Insurance has proven themselves as top car insurer. Twice they helped me out of a jam. After my husband passed away I had difficulty obtaining insurance because I was on his plan for ten years. His insurance company wanted to charge me double as they said I hadn’t had my own plan in a decade. Even though the vehicle was mine, my check paid the policy, etc. No tickets, no accidents and no points on my driving history. They cancelled his plan upon his death, leaving me without insurance, leaving me to struggle with another headache and not being able to drive, along with everything else and mourning. Progressive was the only company to give me a break. They had me up and running, printout proof of insurance plus low payments, everyone else wanted big down payments. Plus they offered safe driver discounts and Snapshot, the safe driver device. Also they provided solutions when I had a household member with insurance financial responsibility issues. Nobody else provided the solutions that Progressive did.. I have never had a claim so I honestly cannot speak of their claim services. But their prices are very competitive and they offer different payment arrangements. Plus they have the quote comparisons, even if they aren’t the lowest. Really, after over thirty years driving I wouldn’t choose any insurance company over Progressive

Progressive is the way an insurance company should be. They have been great from the beginning. I switched to them from another company and they saved me about three hundred dollars from the get go. I have several cars and I don’t like being taken advantage of. Progressive made me feel that they attended to my every need. I could call them whenever and they pick up. I was rear-ended coming back from the supermarket and called them. They came out the same day, looked at the damage and took care of everything, no problem. They really made it feel hassle free and like they actually cared about me, as a customer. They have a great app, that I can look at all my insurance on and get quotes if I need to. They take my payment about monthly, as a draft, and they always send you emails and texts letting you know that it is going to come out, which is always awesome. I’ve called super late at night before and there is always someone on the other line. They really go above and beyond as a company. I wouldn’t be saying that if I didn’t believe it for a fact. As I said, I’ve had several vehicles, as I’m a car guy and sometimes it’s tough insuring multiple high end cars for a good price, as a bundle. Upon calling Progressive they took care of my needs and they continue to do so, whenever I need them too. I would very much highly recommend them, if you are looking for an insurance company.

I have been with Progressive for a little over a year now, and they have always been fantastic. The prices have always been lower than its competitors, which was initially the reason why I chose them. Their website is extremely easy to use and navigate, and the billing process is seamless. I recently moved from Georgia to Texas, and I knew that it would be a hassle to get all of my insurance needs set up properly. I called the phone number for Progressive, and immediately got a representative on the line. They were extremely courteous from the beginning, and so polite. They even helped me pick out the proper coverage I was going to need in my new state. I made sure I spoke with the representative’s supervisor to let them know what a great job they did and how customer service is extremely important in today’s world where it seems like we’re all too busy to really care about others. The agent asked me if I wanted to bundle my renter’s insurance with them, which I told them I did. She then transferred me to another agent who was just as helpful and courteous. We had a great time chatting, as she opened up a bit, and had a very casual conversation while she worked on creating my policy. Even though this whole transaction was almost an hour, it flew by and I was enthusiastic the whole time. I would highly recommend Progressive if you’re in the market for insurance. You won’t be disappointed.

I have had Progressive insurance for 3 years now. I originally switched from Geico because my premiums had risen too much after a minor accident and I wanted to save money. Getting a quote from Progressive was super easy, I did the whole thing online, including purchasing my plan. I didn’t have to input a ton of personal information and I got my quote in less than 15 minutes. I have found that the Progressive website is definitely very user friendly. I can do anything I need to through the website or the app, like update my information, request new identification cards, or make a payment. I have also found that their payment options are very convenient. I have also continued to save money with different discounts, including seeing my premiums reduce the longer I go without an accident. The only time I have ever needed to talk to someone was to check on a claim. In my opinion, their claims service is the best I have dealt with. I had an accident last winter in which my car was totaled and my claims agent was so helpful and made the whole process stress-free. He was able to call me a tow truck and get me a rental car right away. He was always available and called me regularly to update me on the status of my claim and was very compassionate throughout. I always felt like I understood what was happening and I felt like I was in good hands. He even helped me in my search for a new car.

When I switched service providers three years ago, I found the best rate with Progressive. I had never heard anything good or bad about them, so figured I would give them a shot. Within a few months, I discovered the Snapshot program which you plug into the car and it records your driving habits potentially giving you a discount for being a safe driver. I enrolled both of my vehicles in the program and within the next few months started saving even more on my car insurance than I was before. Their website is easy to use, they offer a lot of different discounts and you can change your coverage yourself online without the help of an agent. Dealing with claims with them is easy as well. I had one of my windows get broken by a rock on Sunday afternoon and called them that day and had an appointment made to get it fixed within 24 hours of the incident. The staff I spoke with were friendly and very helpful. I will never leave Progressive, they have been awesome!|Great discount opportunities and great staff with Progressive

So, I just bought a new car. I was provided with an insurance agent while I was at the car dealership. The agent told me that the lowest price insurance plan of all the insurance carriers would be with Progressive. I immediately signed up after she gave me the excellent rates Progressive had to offer. Not only did progressive beat all of the other insurance companies, but I also saved quite a bit of money by signing up to go paperless and receiving my bill in email form. I was very happy and impressed by this. I was able to access all of my documentation and sign everything through email. Going paperless has saved me a lot of money with my monthly payments. It is also very convenient to have everything in one place. So far Progressive has been amazing with customer service. They have communicated a lot to me with different documents and information through email. I have also spoke with their customer service line over the phone, and asked many questions. They answered all my questions completely and gave me a very valuable information about my policy. They were very nice and the agents knew what they were talking about. I really have no complaints about Progressive as it has exceeded my expectations in all areas thus far. You can’t beat the rates, customer service and their up-to-date technology. I will soon sign up with their program to monitor my driving. This will also save me quite a bit of money on my monthly payments.

I’ve been insured with Progressive since October of 2004 and I’ve never had an issue with them, even when my first contact with them was four days after the policy started and I had to file a claim. The claim was handled quickly and with very little fuss (my wife was in an accident that wasn’t her fault) and they never gave me the run-around as to what was happening with the claim. My wife’s lost wages were paid with no hassle, we never had to jump through any unreasonable hoops to get her claims paid and the first thing they said to me when I reported the claim was “Is your wife okay?” They truly seemed to care not only about the claim itself but my wife’s well-being, and that’s not a common quality in any line of business, much less an insurance company. Their customer service is incredible. Almost every answer and change I need I can find on their website and when I’ve actually had to call them my calls have been answered quickly by friendly, knowledgeable reps. Even though my rates have recently increased slightly I haven’t considered switching companies; the service I receive is worth the extra few dollars a month and the loyalty perks I’ve earned (such as accident forgiveness) also make switching companies not something I’ve considered. My son recently bought his first car and, on my strong recommendation, got his insurance through Progressive. They’re an absolutely incredible company that I plan to be with for many years to come.

I have used Progressive as my insurance provider for my car for the past three years. Overall they provide excellent service and a great product. I wish I could find a cheaper rate for my insurance, but Progressive offers me the lowest rate out of all of the big insurance companies and is sub $100.00 a month. I have set up automatic payments and it usually takes three to four days after the amount has been posted to my account to draft out of my account which can throw me off sometimes. That may be my biggest complaint about using them. I pay for their road side assistance program and have had to use it one time to have my car towed after my battery died. From the time that I called and arranged the pick up to the time it took the tow truck company to arrive was probably 45 minutes which was great. The tow truck company arrived and took my car, I didn’t not have to do anything else. I was lucky that I was near my local mechanic because they only provide complimentary towing for the first 15 miles, after that they charge by the mile I believe. The only other minor complaint I have with the company is when I first signed up with them, they didn’t make it clear that I was being given a new customer deal on my quote that lasted only six months, after that initial six months my rate went up by $20.00 which was a bit of a shock. Overall, they are a good company to work with and I am satisfied with their services.

We recently switched to Progressive and we could not ask for any better insurance. We was with Geico previously and were paying twice the amount that we are paying now and for lower insurance policy. We have full coverage on two car and motorcycle insurance and are paying less than we did for just full coverage on one car. Progressive is much better than Geico.|

Progressive gave me great rates even though I don’t have the best driving record. They offered me full comprehensive and collision and when I did get in an accident, as a result of somebody hitting me as they went the wrong way up a one way street, Progressive was quick to take care of the issue. I received no damage in the accident and chose not to file a clime, and the other person filed a claim so his insurance company would pay for the damage he did to his own car. Even though nothing was filed against my insurance and my insurance really had nothing to do with the process, the Progressive agent was courteous and helpful and handled much of the communication with the other insurance company on my behalf. Additionally, because I was not at fault and I made no claim for damages, the accident didn’t cause my rates to go up. In fact, when my renewal came up, my rates had dropped by $6/mo! They even offered me a rental car for a day while my mechanic looked at my car after a deer came through the windshield. I would have had to pay for the rental car, since it wasn’t a claim either, but they offered a greatly discounted rate through the local Progressive office and Enterprise office. Overall, I greatly enjoy having Progressive as an insurance agent, they’ve always been fair with me, I’ve shopped around frequently and never found a cheaper price, and never one with all the extra features that I have

Been with Progressive for ten years. Never any issues, including changing payment withdrawal dates as mentioned above.
I had a (technically) at fault accident a few years ago and the other driver decided to sue at the last minute. The lawyer Progressive supplied was reassuring and down to earth. She handled the suit and I had no personal liability.

I had started off with high hopes from Progressive. They were willing to take a chance on me even though I had a new car and didn’t have insurance before due to not owning a car “lived in Manhattan didn’t need a car”. I started off happy we agreed on rates and I was good to go. After 3 months I got an email saying my rates were going up. At the six month marked they went up again. At this point I really started to get a bad taste in my mouth with progressive but I didn’t have time to research another company so I paid another 6 months and sucked it up. Recently my year was up they started to prompt me again. This time again with higher rates. Are you kidding me progressive. Since I have had them I have had no speeding tickets, no parking tickets, no accidents absolutely noting at all happened to me. Why would they want to charge me a higher rate again? This is crazy. Yes they were easy to deal with and everything can be done online but for the amount of money they want and the amount they keep jacking up it’s not worth it. Today I sit down and with in twenty minutes I found a handful of company’s that would not only offer the coverage progressive offered but they beat the price by more then fifty percent. If all you value is time and you want to do it all progressive is for you. If you want to save more spend a little time to find someone else.

I have been with Progressive Auto Insurance for six plus years now. I have found their company to be extremely helpful and very knowledgeable to work with as far as my auto insurance is involved. My rates were extremely high when I first started with them due to an accident on my husband’s part of an accident he had. Every six months we found that our insurance has gone down to know six years later we have full coverage and an extremely good rate. We have recently added my sixteen-year-old son who is started driving and they were extremely helpful with giving suggestions on how to help him with keeping our rate low. The agent that helped us originally was very nice and very patient with all my questions and incisive calls. I have talked to many agent since when I including a fender bender that was at no fault to anyone. They have always made sure to follow up with me and be truly patient. My bills and insurance cards arrive a month before hand which is wonderful I am not sitting on the edge of my seat going oh no I have no card yet because I do not like to use the print out one from the computer. Paying my bill online and over the phone is very easy and it must be because I hate automated phone calls normally. I would overall recommend auto insurance with Progressive to anyone that either looking for new insurance or starting insurance.

I have been with Progressive for years. My experience started when we decided to get the device called Snapshot from Progressive to see if we could save money on our auto insurance. After driving around with it for 2 weeks, Progressive came back with a quote that was over $100 a month less than what we were paying with GEICO. We thought it was a mistake – we called in and they said it was accurate. The rate was good for full coverage so we jumped at it and we have been with Progressive ever since. They provide great customer service in person and over the phone and settle any and all claims quickly. We have only had one claim in all the years with Progressive and it was a simple glass claim – they handled it with no issue on the same day. We love Progressive and would never think about changing insurance services again. We have been using Progressive so long that we have also switched our homeowners and boat insurance to them as well. The prices are always below the nearest competitor in our case and we totally appreciate every penny we can save on insurance. Progressive without a doubt will be our insurance company for years and years to come – there is absolutely no way that we can ever see leaving. In fact, I recommend Progressive to all my family and friends – at the very least, get a Snapshot and see what they can do for you and your overall insurance rates – they lowered mine, maybe it will work for you too.

I have been with Progressive for almost nine years. I started with them when I purchased my first car. I thought that their rates were reasonable, and they seemed to be fairly mainstream and popular so I went with them. Over those nine years I have only had to file one claim. I accidentally scratched a car when I was pulling out of a parking space. I panicked, and did not call right away. However, I pulled over about an hour later and gave them a call. they were very calming and explained to me the process of how it is all going to work. They took away my worries very quickly. They contacted the owner of the car that I scratched and took care of everything. My insurance ended up increasing slightly. It did not end up increasing substantially, and ended up being much less than I thought it would be. I always paid my premium monthly, with automatic withdrawals. This gave me the peace of mind that I would never be late paying for my insurance. I had to change my banking information on one occasion, and it was very easy to do on the web site. I had no issues with the withdrawal on my next payment. Overall I have been extremely happy with Progressive. I periodically will check the rates of competing insurance providers, but they are always higher or similar to progressive. If it is not cost effective, then I do not see the point in switching to anyone else. i would highly recommend Progressive to anyone looking for auto insurance.

We have been long-time customers of Progressive, and I first remember getting a policy with them in 2004. The rates were very competitively priced, and we had no issues insuring all of our vehicles and our then-teenage drivers. There were the standard discounts for multiple vehicles and for having a good student. We usually paid our premiums up-front for the entire year, and also received a discount for that.

I had one ticket for speeding in 2008, and that was never counted against me so our premiums did not increase at all. In 2010, I was involved in an accident that was deemed not my fault, and was the fault of the other driver, who was uninsured. That is when our issues began with Progressive. They would only fix my car with after-market parts, which has been proven time and again to be sub-par for my make of vehicle. We argued over that, and eventually we relented, only to have continuing issues with leaking windows, sunroof and doors not closing properly. Progressive would not fix the issues. They claimed that the car was fixed to a previously safe level, and the issues were because of “normal wear and tear” and not a result of the accident. We had never had any issues with the car prior to the accident. We finally found an independent shop that confirmed the frame had been twisted in the accident, a MAJOR safety issue! They then increased our policy premium by over 200% – yes, 200!! I think maybe Progressive got too big, too fast, and decided to cut corners where they could. The safety issues are a huge negative for me. I want my insurer to be committed to safety

As irritating as the commercials are for it, the thing that really impressed me with Progressive was the snapshot discount. They give you a device to plug in the car that tracks how often you brake too hard, and alerts you with a beep. I only had the device beep four or five times, and ended up with a 27% discount on my policy. You only need to use for about a week, and then the discount is permanent, so it is definitely worth it. I think other companies are doing something similar now, so I would recommend looking into places that offer something comparable. It really does save a good bit of money for hardly any effort. In addition to the Snapshot discount, I also take advantage of their paid-in-full discount, and have earned a loyalty discount after a year or so of being with the company. The loyalty discount was especially nice since I wasn’t expecting it, and it hasn’t even been that long. I would think that this discount would increase after a few more years, so I would be hesitant to switch companies at this point. I’ve only had to use their claims service once for a minor bump in the parking lot, but it was taken care of quickly. My premium didn’t increase, which was something I was worried about (I also wasn’t at fault, so that probably helped). All the representatives I’ve come in contact with have been friendly and professional, as well. I would honestly recommend Progressive to someone making a decision of where to buy auto insurance

Progressive offered me the best rate. Someone backed into my car when it was parked in front of my house and I noticed the next morning. I was really distraught as I have not gotten into an accident before so I was not sure what the process was like. I called quickly after I noticed the damage, so that I could get it over with. For some reason I felt that I was going to be looked at and blamed for keeping my car in an area that was not quite safe but nobody indicated anything of the sort. Progressive made the process really easy and always followed up/got back to me. The people I dealt with were professional and put me at ease about the whole situation. I went to get the damage inspected and then was able to choose a body shop that I had heard of and was okay with using. After the work was done I really could not tell that there had been damage to my car. The body shop offered a warranty but I never went back to use it since I was satisfied with the work. The work was done really quickly. I cannot remember how long it took but it did not disrupt my daily life. The process was done really fast so much that I don’t really remember the details. I just know that I am still getting the best rate over other insurance companies and it’s a reputable company so I will stick with it.

I have found my time with Progressive Auto Insurance to be an enjoyable one. I have had no problem having questions answered when they have presented themselves. Anytime that I’ve had to speak with customer service via the telephone, I have been satisfied and relieved when I heard someone on the other end speaking clear, natural English on a native level. I can quickly refer to something and have answers delivered to me quickly from an understanding individual. The largest reason I cancelled my previous auto insurance with a company was mainly resulting from anytime I needed to speak with customer service, I was unfortunantly met with broken english from an overseas call center.

Progressive is a solid and fair company with reasonable pricing. I have never had any issues with their service generally or with their prices. If I needed to make a claim, they were always easy to work with, polite and considerate and I felt like I was being treated fairly at all times. I’ve also found it to be incredibly easy to check information about my account or do price checks, and other simple tasks like that. I especially have appreciated the number of times in my own vehicle history where, with Progressive,I have been able to easily sign up (or re-sign up) for insurance service, switch the car that I had coverage on, etc. I had a few cars that stopped running and some intermittent moments without a car, and I’ve always appreciated how quick and easy it has been to go to their website, put in my information, and immediately get a quote and be able to sign up for insurance. You can even print out your insurance card immediately to have it with you on the road without any wait or risk of getting pulled over without your proper proof of insurance. Indeed, I have always found it very easy to navigate the Progressive website to sign up, pay for, or find other information about my account. They really make having insurance for your car or truck easy and convenient. Their latest convenience is the progressive App, allowing you to instantly pull up information about your account on your tablet or phone, even your proof of insurance if you are in a pinch.

Progressive Auto Insurance is good, but very expensive. I have never had an issue with my coverage at Progressive. I have not had any major claims, but the minor ones (glass dings) were taken care of in a timely fashion with a single incident report. My agent has been available when necessary, and all of the expected discounts were applied. I was able to interact with them (the agent and his employees) both in the office and on the telephone. These employees were always polite, and provided good service without complaint. The company has worked well with my local garage and the dealership, dealing well with some minor issues (on both my part and theirs), but eventually resolving all issues related to service calls from the auto manufacturer. I had to make one call when I had driven out of town, and that task was also not a problem. Despite these good qualities I was mildly unsatisfied with the agreement. The base price is big, and the cost in Texas is consistently higher in all comparisons (as much as twenty or thirty percent) than the competitors. After consulting reviews and message boards, I believe there are alternatives which offer at least comparable service for much less money. This differential will result in my leaving Progressive at the next opportunity, despite the prices. I feel their service is good, but not worth several hundred dollars per year extra. I may be wrong, but if cost is among your insurance concerns, I would look elsewhere before turning to this company.

Progressive is a good auto insurance company. The costs are comparable (not significantly higher or lower than competitors), and the agents are cordial, attentive and accessible when necessary. Most of my business occurs through the web site, and preparing my account and verifying the information was a very simple process. I have since moved my interaction over to the iPhone app, and am unhappy with that. I have not tested the android app, but would guess it is quite comparable

For years, I had insurance coverage through Geico, largely because that had been who my mother was insured with when I signed up. I always found it difficult to work with them if something came up and I had to change the date of my automatic payment. I had had one claim with them, which I felt like I didn’t get a lot of information on.

When I got a new vehicle (with a loan that required full coverage), the quote they gave me seemed incredibly high, and through some comparison shopping, I switched to Progressive. I have not had any claims through them, so I cannot comment on how they are on claims. I have had to switch my payment due dates a few times, and it was always relatively easy and their reps are easy to talk to. I’ve been insured through them for over 2 years now, continually. I have it set up to pay automatically, and always receive a reminder email from them several days before the payment is withdrawn. I also receive email reminders when it is time to print my new insurance cards. I have everything set up paperless, so I do have to go to the website if I need any paperwork on my plan, but the website is very easy to use and I always have an easy time finding what I need and changing things if needed. The only thing I’ve run into that was kind of a pain in the butt was trying to add my boyfriend and his vehicle to my plan; I ended up calling in to fix that, but that was largely because he wanted minimum coverage and my truck is set up for full coverage. I would blame ourselves for not fully knowing what we were doing over blaming the website on that one.

Once we called in, we had it all fixed up within 5 minutes, no fuss. We’re also in the process of buying a house, and knowing that they also offer homeowner’s insurance and a bundled price for all services makes me happy as well. Overall, I would say that I am very happy with the service I receive from Progressive.

I initially bought my policy with Progressive online in October of 2004 and my first contact with them was ten days later when I had to file a claim because my wife was involved in an accident that wasn’t her fault (someone ran a stop sign and hit her). From day one, they treated me with nothing but respect, courtesy and compassion.

All of the claims involving the accident were promptly paid and when I had quesistons about the claims I had a specific person I could address those questions to. They paid for all of the rehabilitation and surgery my wife needed after the accident and only stopped paying when an independent doctor reviewed her case and determined further treatment for her case wasn’t necessary. This was 11 years ago and I’ve never considered moving to a different company, even when my home owners insurance company said they might be able to offer me a discount. To me, there’s more to a company than just the price you pay; it’s also what you get for that price, such as the service you receive, and I’ve never been anything but happy with Progressive. In the 11 years I’ve been with Progressive I’ve only had to contact them by phone a handful of times but each time my concerns were quickly answered. I’ve added vehicles to my policy and have had the required ID cards faxed to the dealership within minutes of getting off of the phone. For my money, Progressive is the best insurance company I’ve ever been with and I don’t plan on moving to a different insurance company anytime soon.

I was recently rear-ended by another driver and the force of the impact pushed me about 10-15 feet forward into an SUV. It wound up being a four-car accident but no one was seriously injured, thankfully. I had my car towed to my dealership’s body shop and filed a claim with Progressive (both my insurance company at the time and the driver who hit me). About a week later, I get a call from the body shop letting me know that they are moving forward with the repair and gave me an ETA. A few days after that, I got another call from the body shop and the adjuster, stating that they had decided to declare the car a total loss. When I called the adjuster to find out what had changed, she explained that the costs of the repairs were going to exceed the threshold of their formula so they opted to declare a total loss. This is where it gets really frustrating. Their formula used an amount $2,000-2,300 less than Kelley Blue Book and NADA evaluations for my car. Using that low number caused the threshold to be exceeded by ~ $300. Had they used a fair valuation instead, the amount would have been under the limit and they would have repaired my car.
I showed them the KBB and NADA valuations and they dismissed them stating that they didn’t use those services. I then showed them that the cars and websites that they referenced on their valuation report didn’t exist so I was unable to verify that those vehicles had the same options as my car. The answer was the same every time, ‘we feel that we have given you a fair evaluation of your vehicle’. They refused to increase their settlement offer so I’ve hired an appraisal service and am forcing them into the mediation process.
A couple of points to consider:
This accident was not my fault. – a fact that the insurance company agrees with completely.
At the time of the accident, my annual premiums paid to Progressive were over $5,000 for my household (three cars)
Despite those facts, they refuse to provide me with a fair settlement and now I have to fight them tooth and nail. I have no car and no settlement.
Needless to say I am no longer a Progressive customer and I’ll never make that mistake again. If you are considering them as your insurance provider, keep looking.

I signed up with Progressive about 3 years ago after paying way too much with another provider. I shopped around and looked at a few different companies before deciding on Progressive. I made my initial decision based on price alone, of which Progressive was the least expensive. I then consulted with my dad, who works in the auto repair industry and has extensive experience dealing with insurance companies. He assured me that Progressive was a good company.

Although I have no accidents during my time at Progressive, I can safely say I have had a positive experience overall with them. It is very easy to get discounts based on time you are with the company (so far I have received a 6 month, 1 year, and 2 year discount), being accident free, and being a safe driver. Some consider being accident free and being a safe driver the same thing, but Progressive actually has a module with an accelerometer to determine how aggressive you are as a drive. The module detects excessive acceleration, heavy braking, or turning too hard. The user must plug it into their car for 90 days and return to the company for their discount. If the driver exceeds any values (braking, turning, gas) there is an audible beep to let them know they have exceeded something.

Progressive is a pleasure to deal with from a customer service standpoint as well. I have spoken with agents over the phone and all have been very courteous and helpful. Their online interface is very easy to use and navigate as well. Overall, I have no complaints with Progressive insurance and would recommend them to anyone interested in getting a new insurance company.

I have been very pleased with my experience with Progressive. I signed up with them when my husband and I bought an old truck from my father. We had auto insurance through the same company that was insuring our house. However, when I called them to get a quote, it was a lot higher than I thought it should be. So I started shopping for something more reasonable.

I was impressed with Progressive as soon as I got on the website. It was so easy to navigate and intuitive, and I had my quote very quickly. The price was very reasonable and I took out a policy on the truck. A few months later, we purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee and once again, I got my quote from Progressive. The price was very affordable, and I added that vehicle to our policy. I also took our old vehicle off the insurance for our home. With my changes, we are now paying only $20 more a month for our practically brand-new SUV.

I have an automatic draft set up to come out of my account every month. It is very easy and I have never had an issue with the payment aspect. I have contacted the offices by phone and found the representatives helpful and knowledgeable.

Thankfully, I have not had an accident yet, so I have not made a claim on the insurance. I can’t vouch for how well that will play out, but so far, it has been smooth sailing and I have no complaints.

I have been with Progressive Insurance for a few years and for the first few years I thought they were ok. The rates for the most part seem to have been reasonable over the past few years. I had the insurance for several years without filing any claims as at all. In September of 2013 my vehicle was in the shop for an extended period of time so the mechanic gave me a loaner. Well while I was parked somebody backed in to the loaner causing a minor and I mean minor dent. The mechanic filed a claim without my knowledge and they paid him $2000.00. They never contacted me to verify the extent of the damage. I did not find out until I received my renewal and my premium jumped about $30.00 per month unacceptable. I contacted them to try to fight it and to go after the mechanic to no avail. I am currently seeking other insurance. I am not happy.

I have had Progressive Auto Insurance for nearly 4 years now, and I am very satisfied with their auto insurance. I have not gotten into many auto accidents, but they covered a fair amount when I did. I feel that what I pay each month is somewhat high. I feel I should be getting full coverage for what I pay for liability, but I’m still pretty satisfied. Their customer service is excellent. I typically am on an automatic withdraw feature, where the money is taken from my bank automatically at a certain date each month. There are months in which I am unable to have the money in the bank by the given date. I typically have to call their customer service via phone at that point. Their customer service representatives are typically very affable and informed. They listen well, and are usually more than willing to help me with my issue. Even though the amount I pay each month is somewhat high, I appreciate that I can actually talk to their customer service and get somewhere. Progressive’s website is easy to understand and navigate through. I use it often to check how much my insurance will be. I have had discrepancies with Progressive before There was an instance in which I was quoted a certain amount, but then the amount withdrawn from my bank that month was more than what was quoted to me on the phone, leaving me with an over draft fee. The customer service rep got it to where Progressive paid for the over draft fee, but they did make me pay a different amount than what was quoted to me on the phone, which I was somewhat unhappy with. Over all, the customer service is what makes this auto insurance company worth the money.

I have been insured through Progressive for well over five years now. I can still remember when I first signed up, I compared and compared rates from different companies and they had the best prices along with some of the best incentives for my situation. They give the option of paying your premium by the month, 3-months, 6-months, or 12-months and depending on which of these is chosen, there is a discount available.

In my first few years being insured by Progressive they also gave discounts of at least 5% just for entering my mileage on their website. Then they have discounts just for going paperless and/or for having automatic withdrawal setup. I have moved a few times since being with Progressive and each time they gave me the option to skip my payment for that month and distribute it across the remaining months on my premium. This is nice because of the unexpected expenses that come with moving.

Another thing that I like is that I can call or even go on their website and change my due dates. When I changed jobs, my pay dates changed, so being able to move due dates based on this definitely helped me adjust. Also, the longer you stay with Progressive, the more incentives you get. It is called their Loyalty Reward Program and is based on how many years you have been a customer. For example, because I have been with them for so long I get better discounts, large accident forgiveness, road side assistance, etc! Even now, my rates are reasonable even though I have well over the minimum required insurance coverage for my state.

Progressive has been very good to me.

I spent a lot of time looking around for the best and cheapest car insurance i could find and in the end no one could beat the quote i got from progressive. After having the insurance for a few months i had an accident and i learned then that their customer service is one of a kind as well. They were very friendly and understanding and helped me out every step of the way.

Filing a claim was made so simple and very stress lacking. This is one insurance company that i will recommend to anyone who wants an affordable policy with great customer service.

The guys at the customer service center seem to really care and go out of their way to help you if you need them. The prices they offer are reasonable and you can sign up for auto pay as well and that makes it easier to make sure you get your bill paid on time each month and do not have to worry about late fees and other needless expenses. They are prompt with sending the id cards and you can always expect that you will get new ones way before your old ones expire. They are not prone to raise your rate either in case of a ticket or traffic violation like a lot of insurance companies do.They offer just standard liability in case you just need basic insurance to be legal on the road or you can get collision and the deductible you choose can help you save more money as well.

I have been with progressive for four years now and have never looked back and never regretted the decision to let them service my needs for car insurance.Going with progressive has helped me save money and time and i value both since i do not seem to have much of either so i will likely be a customer for many years to come as well.

I’ve had Progressive since about 2011 when I bought my second car and so far I’ve never had any problems with them. I thought that it would be expensive for me since I’m under 25 but for the duration of me having it, it has always been under $100. Even after having a minor accident that was my fault my insurance did not go up as I thought it would have. As of now my insurance is around $75 a month if I do the math correctly since I usually pay my insurance in a large lump sum rather than paying it every month to save myself some money. Even with the low price I pay I have everything I need in my car insurance plan including AAA which I would have thought would make it cost way much more. Also, their customer service and their AAA service are brilliant! The few times I’ve had to call customer service was to use my AAA and each time the representatives I spoke with were pleasant to speak with and not rude or impatient at all like some customer service representatives tend to be. As far as the AAA service they were very efficient in sending someone out to tow my car the few times I’ve needed service. The only time I had a problem was when I needed help with changing my tire once while driving on the highway and it took them over 2 hours to come but even that was understandable as I was stuck on I95 with no cities around for miles so I did not expect them to show up in 5 minutes like they would if I were in city limits.

I’ve been thrilled with my experience with Progressive. I was with another large auto insurance company but I received a letter that they had raised my rates, despite a good driving record. This made me angry, so I started to shop around.

Progressive was easy to deal with from the get-go. I In my first got my first quote online and I was surprised at how quick it was. It only took me a few minutes to get my information entered and to have a quote right in front of me. I wanted to be sure of my coverage with rental cars, so I called them.I was connected with a real person very quickly. The process was easy and painless.

I like several options Progressive gives you. First is the Snapshot device. They sent me a funny contraption that I plug into my car under the steering wheel and it reports back to them how I’m driving. I am a safe driver and I don’t drive very much, so my rates decreased after a while, once they saw my driving patterns. They said my rates wouldn’t go up because of it, but they could go down (and they did). I also appreciate the flexibility they offer with payment plans. Sometimes, I’ll want to move my due date by a few days and it’s quick and easy to do online. I would definitely recommend Progressive to anyone who is shopping around. The progress by which you get a quote is painless and quick and will likely save you a lot of money.

I never was a customer individually, but I was on the other side on progressive. My daughter driving a car that I leased for her was hit by a progressive driver. My daughters car was new. The other driver admitted to fault. We went to their claim center. The damage was less than my insurance deductable. Their adjuster got back to me telling me they were only going to pay a portion of the claim because in their view there was not corresponding damage on their drivers car. They knew that being the damage was less than my deductable, they could get away with this. Not to mention, they moved so slowly that their client could have had his car fixed ther by not showing corresponding damage.
If your ever hit by a driver with Progressive, be prepared to fight for your claim.

I have been a customer of Progressive for over five years. They have very competitive pricing. I was using Nationwide for several years and Progressive’s prices blew them out of the water, even with the multi-policy discount of car and home insurance I was able to get Progressive auto insurance for significantly cheaper and for the same amount of coverage. Even my Nationwide customer service representative was impressed with the cost – they said there was no way they could match it!

Progressive has a very user friendly website. I love having all of my information online instead of on paper so it’s easily accessible whenever I need to pull it up. They also have all claim information online so it is really easy to track the status of claims if you need to. I have filed several claims with Progressive in the years that I have had their insurance. The customer service representatives are helpful and friendly and get back to you very quickly. The website allows you to file claims online twenty-four hours a day so it is very convenient.

Every time I have filed a claim after hours a representative has always contacted me back the following morning. They must have a wide range of repair shops that they deal with because I have always been able to use the place of my choosing. They always issue payment promptly so my car is fixed without delay. They also cover a rental car for you to drive while your car is in the shop. I definitely can’t recommend Progressive enough!

My wife and I have been with Progressive auto insurance for over 6 years now. They consistently provide excellent customer service when we have had to deal with them.

Because of numerous moves over the past few years and moving from state to state, we have needed to change our policy frequently. We have also changed cars quite frequently over the past 6 years and adding or removing cars using their online site has been simple and easy. Changing policies based on moving from one state to another has not been as easy however and always requires a phone call. The people that operate the Progressive phone services have always been consistent, professional, and polite. While we have never had to file a claim with them ourselves, I am confident that the service that they would provide during their claims service would be as exemplary as the service they have provided to us over the last 6 years.

Their website is easy to use, however, I would like to see more functionality built in. It is not always simple and straightforward to make changes to your account online. The other area where their service is lacking is their automated phone service. I am not someone who likes having to navigate through numerous menus over the phone and would prefer if I could simply hit zero to get to an operator.

Their pricing has always been cheaper for the levels of coverage that like to carry than numerous other insurance providers including Geico, Farmers, and Fireman’s Fund.

I have had Progressive Insurance for many years now. The price is very reasonable. I pay about 50$ per month, and this is after I’ve gotten some discounts for being a long time customer, and for using the tracking device thing they sent me for a week. I have had one minor accident since I have had this insurance, and they took really good care of both me and the other person involved. Both cars were repaired quickly and painlessly, and my rates did not even go up. The website is easy to use, and I rarely have to call them for any reason. The only complaint I have is that I get way too many emails from Progressive. I like the reminders to pay my bill (I have forgotten a few times), but I do not need all the other stuff they send me. All in all, I am very satisfied with my insurance and I have no plans to change carriers anytime soon. I got a quote from State Farm just for kicks one time, and the rate they offered me was over four times what I pay now.

I switched to Progressive insurance from State Farm because it was less expensive for the same coverage. A runaway shopping cart struck my vehicle at the grocery store parking lot. I contacted progressive and they quickly processed my claim and had an appointment scheduled for my repair that fit my schedule. Then entire phone call took about 15 minutes and I was very satisfied with that. My car was repaired in two days and I was given an economy level rental to replace my full sized sedan. I was dissapointed with that arrangement. I felt that a rental should match the car being repaired. Progressive also has a nice website where you can easily change your coverages and get quotes for additional coverage. I’ve never used their in-car device that tracks your driving habits but it seems like a good way to get a discount if you don’t mind the invasion of privacy. Automatic payment is easy to setup so you can just forget about making payments on time. My Progressive representative lives in my local area which is a nice convienece but it hasn’t made much difference when it comes time to file a claim. In that case you almost always speak to someone in their customer service phone center that could be across the country. Overall, I’d rate Progressive as a top auto insurance company. However, if another company were to offer me a lower quite for the same coverage then I’d have no qualms about switching. Their television commercials also give me a chuckle.

I love progressive because they look for the best deal. I pay under a hundred every month for my car. They also give you a chance to lower your car insurance based on how well you drive. It’s the snap shot that you plug into your car and send in after six months. They also offer a lot of different plans depending on what you are insuring. I had to call one of the representatives and she had everything squared away for me in a matter of minutes. She even gave me updates on new insurance coverage’s in my area. I have never had a better experience with an insurance company. Also you can sign up for automatic payments. If you ever need to change something on your plan you can go online and make the changes. You don’t have to call the company and be worried about being put on hold for a long time just to get your plan changed. They also give you a free quote online. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to sign up. You can print your temporary cards online until your actual insurance cards come in the mail.
