I work for an insurance broker and our agency writes business with Travelers. I have not had any problems with them so far, but I have never had a claim while I have been with them. As far as I know their pricing is good, but I get a discount. Service seems to be good as far as I can tell. Coverage also seems to be fine. If someone asked me my option on them, I would definitely recommend Travelers to anyone who would ask me. But like I said I have never had a claim with them, so I have not had to deal with them in a stressful situation, but I do not see any reason why they would not perform well and meet my needs. When I first signed up I needed to have my insurance cards immediately, within minutes they had the cards faxed to my work fax number. The representatives are always patient in giving me quotes with several different options. I recently moved and am trying to decide whether I want to keep both of my cars or if it would be better to sell. When I called the representative went through several different scenarios with me so I can make the choice that is best for me. Since I have never had a claim with Travelers I am unable to give a fair assessment of their care in that department, but if their Customer Service is any indication I am sure it would be as pleasant as something like that can be.
