The Cincinnati Insurance Companies work hard for their clients and their independent agents that write their coverage.

The Cincinnati Insurance Company was created in 1950 by four independent insurance agents, and to this day remains extremely supportive of the Independent Agent way of selling insurance. Cincinnati Insurance Company writes a number of different insurance products including property and casualty insurance under the name Cincinnati Financial.

They write insurance in 39 states and have over 1500 agency locations writing their coverage.

In recent years The Cincinnati Insurance Company has earned the following distinctions:

    The Cincinnati Insurance company has been a great company to have insurance with. They provided me with excellent coverage rates at very reasonable premiums. I decided to switch to this company at the recommendation of a friend and have been pleased ever since. My previous company was a little bit cheaper, but the coverage they provided was much less and their customer service was very bad by comparison. The people I dealt with when setting up our policy did not try to sell us more service than we needed, but rather told us how we could save money, recommended what would be the best policy for us, and was extremely helpful.

    I have only had to file one claim with the company, but again the adjuster was excellent. Even though the accident was my fault, he did not make me feel like I was a bad person or that the company no longer liked having me as a customer. He assessed the situation, processed everything for us, and paid our claim to us in a fast and efficient manner. I simply provided him with the information and he took care of everything. The adjuster came to my home, so that I didn’t have to travel. He didn’t take up too much of my time, but rather went about assessing my cars damage on his own.

    Once he had finished, he provided me with a detailed report so that I was aware of how he reached my settlement amount. The amount that I was paid was sufficient to cover the cost of my repairs. I was also given compensation for a rental car for a few days while my car was in the shop being repaired. I received the money to get our car fixed and back on the road in a matter of only a few days.

    Since this incident, I have not seen a change in my overall premium either, which was something I was very concerned about. Overall, I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants great coverage and service at a very reasonable price.

    I have both my home and auto insurance through The Cincinnati Insurance Company. Over the several years I have had their insurance, I have had to make a single small claim and have never had a negative experience.

    Unlike my previous insurance agency, I have not seen a massive increase in my premium rates. Since I first signed up for my insurance plan a couple years ago, my rates have increased only once and it was a $6 per month increase. With my previous agency, my rate was always fluctuating from year to year.

    As mentioned before, I have had to make one claim with my insurance agency after a minor collision with a deer. I contacted my insurance agent, they contacted the insurance company for me and set up an appointment with an adjuster. The adjuster responded to my incident in a very timely fashion, something my old insurance company could never do as the adjuster was always late or just didn’t show up. After checking my vehicle and writing up a report, the adjuster got a check issued the same day from the insurance company to my local repair shop to take care of the damage to my vehicle. It was a completely pain free experience. The best part is, even after the minor accident, I did not see a major hike in my premium like I had experienced at my previous insurance company when I was in a similar, albeit more severe, accident.

    I would absolutely recommend The Cincinnati Insurance Company for your auto insurance. This is especially true if you can bundle it with your home insurance to reduce the rate even further.

    I have been using Cincinnati Insurance Co. for the past 2 years, and have full coverage on 2 vehicles through them (also homeowners insurance). They are the best insurance co. I’ve ever dealt with. I thought I was getting a great deal using one of the online “discount” insurance companies for car insurance, but my agent called me when it was time to renew my homeowners and asked if he could take a look at our auto policies. We are now saving a LOT of money on our car policies and also an extra $100 a year on our homeowners policy. My agent is always readily available to help with anything that I need, I can e-mail a question about the payment schedule, or a request for I.D. cards, and I usually get a response in about 20 minutes!
